Hockey

The vision of the the Hockey Conditioning Program at HPC is to provide a unique, cutting edge training experience that will maximize the player’s on-ice hockey ability and optimize their long term athletic development. Recognized by The Hockey News Coaching and Training Guide as a top training facility, The Elite Hockey Conditioning Program has been one of Saskatoon’s longest and most successful off-season conditioning centers. The program has a proven record of success. Our athletes are consistently ranked in the top percentile for fitness testing at fall training camps; for example Brenden Morrow, past participant with our program, has twice been recognized as the most physically fit player during pre-season testing at the Dallas Star training camp.

Currently, the group of professional players utilizing the services of the Elite Hockey Conditioning Program includes: Blake Evans, Boyd Kane, Sheldon Brookbank, Jordan Knackstedt, Eric Gryba, Linden Vey, and Joel Broda. HPC is also responsible for keeping both our own Huskie Hockey teams in top physical condition as well as the AAA Saskatoon Stars. In addition to these individuals, a large group of prospective NHL players now playing in the WHL, SJHL, US College and “AAA” utilize the hockey conditioning programs.
