Jason obtained his BSPE at the University of Saskatchewan in 1996 and completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Kinesiology in 1998 at the University of Saskatchewan. Jason is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP) as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Jason is responsible for several programs which include coordinating all personal training at the university, strength and conditioning programs for the Huskie Athletic varsity teams, and all physiological fitness testing.

Over the last fifteen summers Jason has coordinated, designed and implemented off season high performance training for hockey players of all levels from grassroots to current NHL players. Jason’s experience in high performance training includes working with professional hockey players such as Brenden Morrow and Colby Armstrong, as well as developing national and Olympic athletes such as Olympic bronze medalist Kaylyn Kyle and World Super Bike racer Brett McCormick. Jason has also been involved in working with the Public and Catholic School Boards as a Physical Education consultant working with many schools to assist with keeping our kids active.

Jason is also working as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the University of Saskatchewan Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Hockey, and Women’s Volleyball, and Women’s Basketball team.
